Why Boys Don't Play with Dolls by Kath Pollitt

Can you give your son a doll to play with? Would you give your daughter an action figure? Kath Pollitt, stands in the viewing point that boys and girls playing with vice verse toys or activities cant harm the way they might be heterosexually raised. For instance, a boy playing with dolls should not be identify as "gay", but rather just simply a boy playing with dolls. On the other hand, because of society's social dividing judgment, the idea of girls and boys being raised on different agendas, boys using knitting kits and girls playing with trucks, is out of the question. Unfortunately a, girl can't play guy sports or like guy activities because she'll be demographically viewed as a "tom-boy". But the gaped difference that a doll holds is large as opposed to boy toys, rather than it simply being just a common toy, the doll holds strict mean, advertised with little girls playing with it , so therefor made for only girls to play with. The ideas a boy or girl picks up through life have a major impact, parents believe that they should be the only ones to be understood with no questions asked, but a growing and curious mind of a child feeds off the floating language of what teachers might say or friends and family. The outcome of boy habits being adsorbed by girls and vice verse, aren't fully depended on the parents but none the less carry most of the responsibility, but however it may as well be unpredictable.
